STEREO Approaching Launch Date

Puncture in Atlantis Radiator Found

According to www.space.com, NASA has found a small puncture hole in the radiator on the space shuttle Atlantis's payload bay. While NASA says this damage at no point in flight put the crew at risk, they did comment that this impact may have been the second largest ever recorded on a payload bay door.

Stereo Spacecraft to Launch Wednesday

The NASA spacecraft STEREO is due to be launched Wednesday the 25th of October. The launch window is from 8:38 PM to 8:53 PM. The launch will be broadcasted on NASA TV at:

HUBBLE IS SAVED!!

Michael Griffin has just announced at Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt, Maryland that the Hubble Space Telescope will be serviced by a space shuttle mission, therefore saving it from deorbit. Halleluiah!
